Well, this is Mortimer. He's my new wolf/dog/hound character and I love him to bits
 He's half dead, but he's really good natured. He died at the same time as his master, and as their spirts desended into the world of the dead, Mortimer's got a bit mixed up. You see, dogs have a different world of dead to humans, but Mortimer got muddled. His spirit got mixed up with his owners so half of him went into the human world of the dead-whilst the other stayed with him. At this time he was in a comotosed state- and was for many days- until he woke up. When he woke up, he had these strange markings on him, and he wasn't where he was supposed to be..... Ok, we'll have more on Mort's story later  For now, I'm not that sure if this is the final design so I'd love to hear some feedback from you guys n__n (yes, his heads too small x_x)All of his markings are fur (except for the medal and band), he has a white chin (which you can't see in this pic soz  ) that flows into a white chest. He has white pupils/glazed over eyes because he's half dead. Enjoy  Mortimer and art (c) Me Morty loves fan art just as much as Arden does |

 reports, 1d 12h agoDaily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.  reports, 1d 22h agoThis newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. Rou is my ginger bundle of fluff! I wuv him...hehe...fuzzy...XD
The only problem is, is that they eyes convey emotion- and if he doesn't have any pupils its hard to see what he's feeling or what direstion he's looking in
